No moving or renaming files. Point Studio at the folders you already use and your photos appear by the date you took them.
New photos added to those folders show up in Studio right away. The originals always stay on your computer.

That photo from years ago? Found in seconds
Search by species, place, date, or file name. Search a whole group, like the gossamer-winged butterflies (Lycaenidae), and every species in it comes up together. Pick a photo to see it large in the side panel, and flip through the next ones with the arrow keys.
Can't remember the name? Describe what you remember, like “a bird by the water” — Studio searches what's in the photo, too.
Pick
Similar shots side by side. Keep the best one
Line up similar shots side by side, then zoom and pan them together to compare focus and pose.
Rate your favorites and you can pull up just the best frames later.
Sort
Group by species, confirm in one go
Ask for species suggestions and photos with the same suggested name are grouped together. Skim the group, take out the ones that don't belong, and name them all at once.
Suggestions can be wrong. You always make the final call.

Choose the levels you want — class, order, family, genus, species — and Studio sorts photos into folders, named by scientific or common name. Copy or move, your call.
Quick photo edits
Crop, rotate and resize without touching the original, then save a new file when you need one.

Watch clips right in your library and keep just the part you want, cut without re-encoding.
Batch export
Send a selection out at the size and format you need — JPG, PNG or WEBP — in one go.

On the same Wi-Fi, photos sent from your phone (LocalSend) or camera (FTP) land in Studio directly.

When can I use it?
There's no date yet. When it's ready, we'll let you know first at the email you signed up with.
How is it different from the Moeyo app?
The Moeyo app is for recording what you meet on a walk, right there on your phone. Studio is for organizing and searching the photos already on your computer. The two are kept separately.
Do my photos leave my computer?
Importing, organizing, and searching all happen on your computer. Photos are sent to Moeyo's servers only when you ask for species suggestions, so they can be suggested.
Is it free?
The core features are all free. Premium features such as automatic species suggestions and auto-tagging may come with usage limits or need a paid plan. During early access, we'll make sure you have plenty of room to use them.
