The vinous-throated parrotbill is a tiny East Asian bird with a short, thick bill and a long tail. It moves through brush in flocks, but it is not a wild bird in the United States. Its range includes Korea, China, and Taiwan.

About the name
Older names for this species include Paradoxornis webbianus and Sinosuthora webbiana. The Korean population is often named the fulvicauda.
